Our commitment to sustainability extends beyond our eco-friendly hotel grounds. We have set aside areas on our surrounding 200 acres of farmland to encourage wildlife, as well as introducing ponds and maintaining woodland areas. These habitats support local biodiversity, providing a sanctuary for various plant and animal species, and contributing to the overall health of our environment. Eco-Friendly In Room Toiletries
Our partnership with Temple Spa brings eco-friendly luxury to our guests. All Temple Spa tubes are 100% recyclable, and their skincare ingredients are 100% cruelty-free. Additionally, all products are suitable for vegetarians, with 76% of the range being suitable for vegans. Temple Spa also ensures that any palm oil used in their products is sourced from wholly sustainable sources.

Biomass Boilers for Heating
As an eco-friendly hotel, we use state-of-the-art biomass boilers to provide heating and hot water throughout the entire building. Biomass energy offers a sustainable alternative to traditional heating methods, using organic materials to produce warmth in an environmentally friendly way.

Sustainable Water Supply with Borehole Water
We have invested in a borehole water system that supplies a large portion of the water used in our hotel. This system allows us to tap into natural underground water sources, reducing our dependence on municipal water supplies and ensuring a sustainable and reliable source of water for our guests, further cementing our status as an eco-friendly hotel.

EV Car Charging Points
We’re pleased to share that our four new electric vehicle charging points have now been installed. We’re currently completing the final groundworks around them to make the area safe and easy to use for our guests. Watch this space for updates on when they’ll be ready to go!

We are proud to have a dedicated section of our field allocated to a solar array. This solar power system provides a significant portion of our energy needs, ensuring that much of the electricity used in our eco-friendly hotel is sourced from renewable energy. By harnessing the power of the sun, we reduce our reliance on fossil fuels and minimise our carbon emissions.

Comprehensive Recycling Program
We believe in the importance of recycling to reduce waste and conserve resources. We recycle all paper, cardboard, glass bottles and plastics, including our in-room toiletries. Our comprehensive recycling program ensures that these materials are diverted from landfills and processed for reuse.

Park Farm have installed energy-efficient LED lighting throughout our eco-friendly hotel and use energy-saving appliances in our kitchens and guest rooms. These measures significantly reduce our overall energy consumption.

Opt-Out Housekeeping Program
To further our efforts in conserving resources, we offer an opt-out housekeeping program. If you prefer not to have your room cleaned daily, simply let us know. By opting out, you help us conserve water and reduce the use of cleaning chemicals, minimising the environmental impact of unnecessary washing of towels and linens, and further supporting our efforts to be an eco-friendly hotel.
